About
We publish three independent sites, each built around primary sources: the notice, the law, the filing or the dataset itself.
Our publications
- Home Health Brief (homehealthbrief.com) explains what CMS, Medicare Administrative Contractors and Illinois agencies publish about home health and hospice. Our explainers aren't billing, legal or clinical advice. Check the linked source and your Medicare Administrative Contractor.
- The Highline Report (highlinereport.com) covers cannabis news and rules, including Illinois and federal policy, for readers 21 and over. We don't make health claims about cannabis.
- The Whole Read (thewholeread.com) explains the news with sources from more than one side. Its fact-check section isn't publishing ratings yet.
Who owns us
Home Health Brief and The Whole Read are published by CareOS AI LLC. The Highline Report is published under its own name and kept editorially separate from High Haven and Aces Dispensary, the Illinois dispensaries Monsaur Othman operates. All three are owned by Monsaur Othman. They aren't affiliated with any AI company or social media platform. Monsaur Othman also owns cannabis businesses (High Haven Dispensary LLC and Aces Dispensary) and home health and health technology businesses (Carelink Home Health LLC, Link Home Care and CareOS AI LLC). Any story that mentions one of them carries a clear disclosure at the top. The Highline Report's newsroom is run separately from the dispensaries' sales and marketing, and its stories about Illinois cannabis retail, taxes or advertising carry a conflict-of-interest note.
How we work
- Software agents find leads in public sources and write first drafts from the primary documents. Each draft lists every source it relies on, and if a fact can't be traced to a source, it comes out.
- Every story is bylined Monsaur Othman and edited by our newsroom under his editorial standards, and each shows when it was last updated. Every story ends with a note on how AI tools were used. Read how we use AI.
- Social media posts are leads, not proof, unless an official account's post is itself the news.
- We don't sell ads or sponsorships today. If that changes, our advertising policy says how paid content is labeled and kept separate from reporting.
- We log every correction publicly. Read our corrections policy.
